Sunday has always held a special place in my heart. Growing up as the only girl in a big household, there was always something to do, cleaning, laundry, cooking; it felt like a never-ending cycle of taking care of things and people.

The only day that gave me some form of respite was Sunday. I cherished it because I could sneak in a few hours to myself without anyone noticing. It became my day to reset, to reflect, and to plan for the coming week.

Sundays reminded me to slow down, enjoy the sweet breeze that rustled through the palm trees around my home, gaze up at the clear skies, or simply light a slow-burning, sweet-smelling candle and embrace the quiet.

This feeling is what Ederé represents to me.
